Today’s Wool and Stitch pattern is this fab crochet chunky heart cushion pattern, this is a very quick and easy crochet pattern for you to try out and can easily be done in a day or if you a very quick crocheter, half a day! Simple right?! I designed this using Hayfield bonus chunky yarn in the colour denim wash – I am a very big fan of using this yarn as its so easy to work with and they have such a great range of colours to choose from and its so soft!
The best thing about this pattern is that you wont need mmany materials to make it and it doesn’t take up much yarn. You will only need your favourite chosen chunky yarn, toy stuffing/filling, crochet hook, scissors and darning needle and thats it!! Its a very simple pattern to follow so dont be put off if you are a beginner as it is explained as simple as possible.
Hope you enjoy it as much as i did designing it.

> Join yarn at the bottom of hearts and slip stitch up the right hand side of hearts and over both the humps making sure to go through all stitches of your hearts to join them together
> Now start to fill your heart cushion with toy stuffing/filling then slip stitch into a few more stitches down the left hand side of cushion then fill your heart cushion with more toy stuffing/filling – Repeat this until your heart cushion is completely full with stuffing/filling and slip stitch into the remaining sts to join heart completely together

> You may need to shape your heart a little by moving the stuffing/filling around in the heart to distribute it evenly
